Fragments from lectures, classes and tutorials fill your mind, having spent the last few semesters immersed in a culturally safe and validating learning environment.
You are learning your language, knowing your sciences, and explaining your art.
The sun is setting – your favourite time on Larrakia Country. You are here on a course trip, part of your current studies, allowing the time and recognising the importance of still moments on your land.
As you sit the colours invert, the sand becoming black and the sky becoming sand.
The phrase ‘as above, so below’ quoted by Professor Krystal de Napoli in your ‘First Astronomers’ course echoes in your mind.
